Regarding Monica and her squatting prowess -
I was telling her a story about the Globo Gym yesterday that involved a trio of Bro’s using the squat rack next to me. I give them an A for actually squatting in the squat rack, but an F for form and range of motion. These poor saps were doing what I would call “knee bends” rather than squats…knees way forward over the toes, hips WAY above parallel (they had a bench under their butts and they weren’t even going down to touch it). The big guy that was clearly the ring leader kept making comments to the little skinny guys like “are we going to put some real weight on the bar or what?”. He never went over 225#. I wanted to be like “I workout with girls that squat more than you, so please shut your mouth”. Maybe I will just print this picture out and hand it to them next time.
Moral of the story = Mon kicks ass, and not just “for a girl”.
I LOVE this story, Sheldon!! Please take Monica with you to the Globo Gym to show these brahs what real squatting looks like. Monica watched me front squat last night and then she said “good job.” It was like hearing Regina George tell me she liked my skirt!! (Mean Girls, anyone? Anyone??)

Globo Gym Sesh-
Power Clean and Push Jerk (no belt) – worked up to 215 succesfully. Just missed the jerk on 225.
