Dog Day Afternoon: Final Details

Time: The fun begins at 1100! Plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign a waiver if you have not worked out at CFDV before.

Price of Admission: Don’t forget to bring something — or several somethings! — from the SPCA’s Wish List. They are currently in desperate need of towels, according to their Facebook page. You may also want to bring cash or your checkbook, as there will be SPCA merchandise for sale! Cash and check donations are also accepted.

Parking: Please only park in CFDV-approved areas: the spots in the very front of the gym, across the street at the Krando lot, or on Parkway Drive. NO PARKING is allowed in front of Wright’s or either of the right-hand landscaper’s gates!

Animals: The SPCA will be bringing dogs and cats who are in need of good homes, so if you are thinking about adopting, this would be a great day for it! Your own dogs, cats, and other pets are also welcome, but they must be supervised while you work out and cannot run free. And be sure to clean up any doo-doos!

Food & Drink: Please bring food and drinks to share! CFDV will provide wings and veggies, whatever beer is in our fridge, Cotton Candy Vodka, Prosecco, and the one remaining shot of Liquid Snatch. We’ll also have representatives from VitaCoco and Bai5 with samples of their delicious drinks!

WOD Info: This is going to be a day of FUN for a great cause – there will be no 1st place winners here, other than our furry friends! But rest assured that you will get a great workout in the form of some crazy, secret WODs that Rob & Larry are cooking up. The WODs can be scaled for all fitness levels, so all are welcome to participate!

Kids WOD: Children are welcome, but like your pets, they must be supervised. Our CrossFit Kids certified trainer Maura will be running a Kids WOD for children between the ages of 6 and 12!

Regular Class: There will be one regular class held on Saturday morning at 0900 for CFDV members. Sign up via Zen Planner.

Please let Kara know if you have any questions: kara@crossfitdelawarevalley.com.

See you on Saturday!

This is going to be so fun! Depending on how this week goes, this should be my first WOD back after a 2 week hiatus. CANNOT WAIT.

How late will WODs be running until? I wont be able to make it down until about 1:30.

Andrew, we’ll definitely be there past 1:30! Who knows what time we’ll wrap up but there will certainly be happy social fun time going well into the afternoon.

I am so, so, so disappointed I have to miss this event!! :( I do have some things that I would like to donate. I’ll bring them to the box on Thurs. if that’s ok. Have fun! What a great idea!
