Press 6×6, sets across. Clean weights from floor.
Rest exactly 2 minutes between sets (this is NOT every 2 minutes).

Metcon

21-15-9 rep rounds of:

Med Ball Cleans (20/14)
DB Push Press (35/25)
Double Unders

INT: Same as Rx
ELE: Omit DUs, scale weights as needed.

Post stats for strength and time for metcon to Wofidy.

    It was awesome to be able to rejoin the 5:30 crew this morning and actually do a workout. Even if I scaled the crap out of what I did it was nice to actually do something.

    Strength: 100×6 (used rack)
    METCON:
    subbed with air squat cleans, strict press(#25), and SU’s

    Strict press is my weakest lift so I’m happy I seem to be making progress. 63# 6×6
    I did have to push press the last 1 in set 5 and the last 2 in set 6.

    Metcon: 4:40
    My legs are still so sore from yesterday and then we did more squats?!!! Needless to say, my right quad is semi-twitching at the moment. Sooooooo ready for Friday, my rest day.

    Big thanks to Chris and Maura for their help this morning.
    Strict press: 1st round 65#x4 then down to 55# with some push pressing the last rep in sets 3 and 4.
    Metcon: Rx 6:55.

    Decathlon training: 2 broomiles (ugly as Hell, by the way) then 25 KB swings with red KB.
    Smoked, simmered, sauted, toasted…you get the point.

    Press: 45lbs, 6×6. Should have probably gone a little heavier.

    Metcon: 9:50 w/20lb DB’s and DU attempts. I’m not sure that slow and steady wins the race but she definitely finishes DFL in the WOD’s! Not an ounce of coperation from my DU’s tonight with the majority of the reps being attempts…ugh!
