    There’s nothing quite so sweet as a “first” at CrossFit — unless it’s vomiting in the parking lot, that probably doesn’t qualify. But this sure does! Congratulations!

    Its been a couple months if not longer since I did a deadlift and today felt great and the back is making improvements. Thank you Brandon for the great cue that seemed to really make a difference.

    Strength: 115, 145, 165, 175, 185, 200
    METCON: 8:15 w/ 2 abmats

    BTW……Todd is a beast. There was no more room on that bar.

    Strength: 95,135,185, 205,225,235 (failed – got to just below my knee but was too far forward and couldn’t hinge the rest of the way), 230

    Metcon: 11:29 Rx. Man, those HSPU are killlers. I had to stop to tape after the 1st round b/c my wrists were not enjoying the ride. Then, round 3 I had to re-do at least 3 HSPU to make them all legit. I was too close to the wall. Oh well, I finished. Nice work to the 5:30 class! Thanks for cheering me, the slow poke, on.

    PS. More protein needed today, I was slacking yesterday and I felt it this morning.

    2 – Todd deadlifted 605# this morning?! WTF, do we even have that much weight in the gym?! Can someone please get this guy into powerlifting with Zach and the BBC so he can demolish state records?

    I have reason to believe Todd is actually Thor with a hair cut. The other night he entered the gym parking lot riding a bolt of lightning. I also saw him staring at the sledge hammers in the corner of the gym.

    Hahahaha, if Todd doesn’t come to class next Wednesday dressed as Thor, I will be sorely disappointed. Also, Belza better be dressed like the best damn caveman ever.
