2nd Annual Dog Day Afternoon: Final Details

Lily and Jasmine, AmStaff-Mastiff blend sisters. Lily was adopted this week, but Jasmine still needs a fur-ever home!

Time:
The fun begins at 1100! Plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign a waiver if you have not worked out at CFDV before.

Price of Admission: Don’t forget to bring something — or several somethings! — from the SPCA’s Wish List. You may also want to bring cash or your checkbook, as there will be SPCA merchandise for sale! Cash and check donations are also accepted.

Parking: Please only park in CFDV-approved areas: the spots in front of the gym, across the street at the Krando lot, or on Parkway Drive. NO PARKING is allowed in front of Wright’s!

Animals: The SPCA will be bringing dogs and cats who are in need of good homes, so if you are thinking about adopting, this would be a great day for it! Your own dogs, cats, and other pets are also welcome, but they must be supervised while you work out and cannot run free. And be sure to clean up any doo-doos!

Food & Drink: Please bring food and drinks to share! CFDV will provide wings and veggies and whatever booze is in our fridge. We’ll also have representatives from VitaCoco with samples of their delicious, hydrating drinks!

WOD Info: This is going to be a day of FUN for a great cause – there will be no 1st place winners here, other than our furry friends! But rest assured that you will get a great workout in the form of some crazy, secret WODs. The WODs can be scaled for all fitness levels, so everyone is welcome to participate!

CrossFit Kids WOD: Children are welcome, but like your pets, they must be supervised. Our CrossFit Kids certified trainer Maura will be running a CFKids WOD for children between the ages of 6 and 12!

Regular Class: There will be NO regular class held on Saturday morning – just Open Gym from 0900-1100.

Weather: This is a rain or shine event – but keep your fingers crossed for sun, please!

Please let Kara know if you have any questions: kara@crossfitdelawarevalley.com.

See you on Saturday!

AmStaff-Mastiff thats sounds like an awesome mix!!

Princess and I prefer a BBC type WOD which will play to our strengths…we are not much for cardio these days (teehee)…Princess is a DELCO SPCA rescue and she is awesome…she looks forward to helping her other furry friends while they wait to get adopted…
