I first heard about CrossFit in 2014 but wasn’t able to try it until the following year. And all it took was one Elements Onramp class (where I got my first double under) and I’ve never looked back! I’ve spent many days watching other athletes perform the movements because I’m always seeking out ways to improve my own technique and skills. I had developed a true passion for the sport, which led me to taking the CF Level One Certification so that I can help others grow and reach their goals.
After my first year, I got talked into doing my first CrossFit competition. My performance at the comp was nothing to write home about! However, that experience lit a fire in me, and from that day forward I knew I wanted to compete. I have since qualified for the Masters Online Qualifier in 2017 and 2018. I’m looking forward to seeing what 2023 has in store for me.
My goal is to expand my knowledge in all of the different aspects of Crossfit, which includes Gymnastics, Olympic Lifting and Nutrition (to name a few). To watch others grow and surpass their goals is truly amazing. I want to grow with them and help them get started on their journey. I want them to have their own story to tell!
I’m a Respiratory Therapist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). I have been there for 26 years, helping children heal and grow. I received a BS in Health Science and an Associates in Respiratory and I have have an Associates Degree in Accounting.
And lastly, I have my family and they teach me everyday to be a better version of myself. My family consists of my husband Jeff and 3 children - Gianna, Jeffrey and Luke. Watching my children grow into young adults and achieve their goals has been nothing shy of amazing.
