I found CrossFit in 2012 when I had just moved to DelCo from NYC and was searching for a new community. I have a dance background in hip hop, jazz, and cultural folk dance, and I spent my whole life trained to see movement as a form of art and storytelling. But it was the moment I walked into a CrossFit box and took my first class that fitness and exercise clicked. The various movements, high intensity, and the community approach to workouts - things that inspire you to create a more powerful engine from within than you would by doing it alone — were all things that had me hooked! Rushing to the last CrossFit class after work didn’t feel like a task, it felt like the reward to myself after a busy day.

Since then, the methodology has stayed with me – I did CrossFit through 3 pregnancies and postpartum journeys, a medical leave for my son, and the pandemic. It helped me to become the best version of myself so that I could support my family during life’s biggest challenges. With 12 years of Crossfit under my belt, I am passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals as we gracefully age and navigate life transitions. I'm also energized by CrossFit competitions and the experience that community events provide to push athletes beyond their perceived capabilities. I look forward to helping members fill their cup so they can give to those who need them most…while become the healthiest version of themselves!

When I’m not in the gym, you can find me cheering for my kids at activities and games with my husband, working as an educator for young adults, and participating in CrossFit competitions…you can find me wearing a DelVal shirt at local comps!
